Hey all , does anyone know how to reset the alarm other than disconnecting the battery ....
Cutting a long story short I broke down car just cut out on a bend , got it towed home , the battery was low after numerous attempts to start the car ...later that night I could hear a feint alarm noise ...had to go out and disconnect as neighbours....put battery on for a full charge, next day every time I connect battery alarm goes off loud lol ...
My key fobs have new batteries and all central locking etc all work with the fobs ....just can't turn the alarm off !! Tried a couple of Google steps but it feels like I'm p##### in the wind ....
My mechanic managed to read my fault code for the breakdown I had and its to do with Camshaft Sensor TDC has no pulse lol ... But trying to read the codes again and he can't access the ECU whilst the alarm / anti theft system is sounding ...... We have to disconnect the battery just to kill the noise or pull a fuse .....every time we do this taking a fuse out we then can't access the ECU with the code reader 😞
